Chuseok is coming!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chuseok

Above is a link to explain what Chuseok is in Korea. Simply put, it is Korea's version of Thanksgiving. I get next Monday and Tueday off because of Chuseok. At school, a lot of the parents give us presents and some of the teachers will too. My co-workers and I got our Korean co workers some handmade soap for gifts. Today, we got huge boxes of kiwis. There are so many...Im going to have to freeze them! I heard tomorrow we will be getting lots of similar gifts sometimes even lots and lots of toothpaste and shampoo. I use baking soda and peppermint for toothpaste now so I will have to re gift all my toothpaste! We have a cooking class at school tomorrow but Im not sure what we will be cooking. Then after school, we are driving to Busan. Busan is a huge city on the coast in the southern part of Korea. It will be my first time going there. For my birthday, my boss booked a hotel for us there for two night and another night in this little traditional town we will spend one night in. Both places are like condos and are very nice. It was really sweet of her do do this for me and my co-teachers!
me and waaaaay too many kiwis!

I also want to say THANK YOU to my mom!!! I was very happy to see a care package from you on my desk at work this morning! It made me soo happy : )
I LOVE YOU!
