Happy Holidays!

Christmas was a bit different this year. I spent it without any of you in Korea. I did call mom and open some of my presents she sent me over the phone. She was sleeping when I called so Im not sure how thrilled she was to be sitting there listening to me open them at 1am her time...but the time difference of 14 hours makes it hard to always call at a normal time. On Christmas eve I went into Seoul and had a christmas buffet dinner with some of my Dangjin friends and one of their groups of mostly South African friends. There was loads of food and the chef made me something special since I am a veggie. They made me this yummy lasagna type thing and we had eggnog! We did a yankee swap as well. I got new headphones for my ipod which was good because I really needed some! That night I stayed with Nick and Nat at their friends house who were away. We watched "Elf" and went to sleep. The next morning we took the bus back to Dangjin to get ready for Christmas. We invited people from Dangjin to celebrate Christmas with us. There was about 10 of us. We made lots and lots of food and desserts! We made mulled wine too...we had so much food people were really stuffed..like they should be on Christmas! I drank a bit too much mulled wine, it was delicious! I also taught everyone how to play dreidel. They loved it...it was  a lot of fun....we played with little chocolate candies.
